On 11th November, the school held a very moving Remembrance Assembly to recognise and remember those who fell in the 1914-1918 World War.

Names of the fallen from our local communities were read out and local connections made. Pupils were asked to come onto the stage to represent each of the names called out.

A minute's silence was held with almost all pupils and staff on the stage representing those young men lost to the area.
