Huge congratulations to Hannah Hunter who took first place in the North of Scotland Regional Final of the Springboard Scotland Future Chef Competition in Inverness on Tuesday 24th February.  Hannah's menu was put together by Gary Phillips of Kilcamb Lodge Hotel who mentored Hannah for the competition.  The feedback from the judges was that Hannah's performance was outstanding.

Hannah now goes forward as one of 12 national finalists, 2 from Scotland,  to London to compete on 23rd March in Westminster College.  She will again be supported by Gary and our thanks to him and to Kilcamb Lodge Hotel for their support.

Hannah received a celebratory plate recording her achievement and a set of chef's knives as well as other gifts from Springboard while the school received a similar plate as a permanent record of our success and a hand mixer.

This is the second time in 3 years AHS has reached the National Final and we are very proud of the hardwork and commitment of our young people.
