On Monday the S1 pupils enjoyed a workshop run by the Highland Heritage ranger Michelle
Meliville. The pupils were shown how to use needle felting equipment and fleece and fabric
pens to make their own individual square as part of a Highland wide project. Each square
will tell their story of their favourite local place, local wildlife, local story or family story/way of
life or represent a local sport such as shinty or local shows. Finished squares will be added
to the quilt and displayed in Fort William library. We look forward to seeing their lovely work!
