The summer leavers programme has been designed to give young people, looking for their next career steps, advice and guidance regarding opportunities. The programme will run throughout July and August and comprises of Scotland’s Biggest Parents Evening and the Skills Academy. Scotland’s Biggest Parents Evening will include online pathways to industry, vocational pathways and pathways to priority industry sessions/ webinars. The online, Skills Academy will run throughout the months of July and August consisting of industry career talks, skills sessions, E-Learning, the #NoWrongPathCampaign and job application guidance, comprising of a virtual mock interview, CV and cover letter feedback. The e-learning and mock interviews/CV checks are only for those progressing into employment from school as a priority.

Summer leavers  can register now to the Skills Academy through https://www.dyw.scot/skills-academy.html and must do so before the 12^th July.
