On Monday 27th January, Tom from the Smallpiece Charitable Trust, presented a very full and active day based around team working skills and the relevance of engineering to society.

S2 and S3 pupils were organised into teams and challenged to work together as a company in order to design, build and sell a jet powered boat.

Tom was very impressed with the Ardnamurchan results and said that the boats had some of the fastest times he had ever seen (and he had been doing this challenge in schools all over Britain)!

A productive day enjoyed by all.
