Rotary Young Chef of the Year
Congratulations to our first year pupil Helen Jones from Lochaline who took first place in the Rotary Young Chef District final in East Kibride yesterday. Helen kept her nerves in check to produce an amazing 3 course meal for 2 people in 2 hours.
We couldn't have done it without the help and mentoring from Gary Phillips , Head Chef at Kilcamb Lodge, Strontian who set the menu and provided the recipes.
Big thanks to Helen's parents for their support and Donald Young of Lochaber Rotary Club.
Helen now goes forward to the Scottish and North of England regional final on 7th March
